Wanted: Master biscuiteer – Apply within
Can you use Excel, do you have a good eye for detail, do you like biscuits? Well, this is the job for you!
Having a job is a strange thing at the moment. For some, their job is unchanged, just with the addition of a bit more handwashing and a mask. For others, it involves a lot more pyjamas all day, muting Holly and Phil to take work calls, and occasionally putting on a jacket over your egg stained t-shirt for a zoom conference. And then there's me. I have no job. So I was quite excited when I spotted this! I could be a Master Biscuiteer!
But Jesse, I hear you ask, what does being a master biscuiteer entail? Well, Border, the people who make fancy biscuits are looking for someone who "has the skills, expertise and experience to really drive Border's obsession with quality."
A peep at their range of frankly excellent biscuits.
Essentially the role will involve eating a lot of biscuits, aiding the biscuit making process, being consulted on packaging and styling, and generally overseeing the creation of biscuits. You'd be based in Lanark, in Scotland, as part of their Operations Excellence division. Which sounds like a strategic bombing force from World War 2 to me, and I like that.
Pay? Up to £40,000 a year! Not too shabby.
So do you fancy being a biscuit overlord, apply here!

Sounds interesting but I don't want to move...lol
Not surprising, they're in need of one...
Borders supplies to quite a few hotels in the UK and they aren't particularly great biscuits. I should know, I've nicked many a few little packets to have with a cup of tea at work!
It seems great! And I love Scotland lol
