There has been a couple of Tribers interested in this recipe. With all the fresh produce around, it is a great time to give you all this tasty dressing. Warm. Bacon. Dressing. Doesn't it just make you tingle with happiness at the sound of it?
A sweet, tangy, smoky dressing
Serves4
Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, cut up
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons corn starch
Instructions
- Cook bacon in medium pot. Remove bacon and excess grease.
- Using a whisk, mix up remaining ingredients and pour into the same pot you cooked bacon in.
- Cook on about medium heat. Lightly boil, scrap sides and bottom of all the good stuff. Cook until cloudiness is gone and it has thickened.
- Enjoy!

This is especially good on a mixed greens salad with blue cheese or feta and all the cut-up veggies you like.
