Everyone remembers that Simpsons episode right? Puffer fish (or fugu) is deadly poisonous due to its tetrodotoxin and can be lethal if you eat it. And that’s why we sent our man Leslie to Osaka in Japan...to eat it.

Never tried it. Not sure it's worth the risk by the sound of it. They say some top Fugu chefs leave a tiny bit of the toxic bit in, because customers like the sensation of their lips tingling a tiny bit then going a bit numb for a while. That could be hearsay though.
Not sure I'd be up for the fugu, but most of the stuff in the other videos I'm all about trying if I ever find my way there. Some of the Japanese restaurants here in the states make those pancake-like dishes that are quite lovely.
As a Sashimi lover, Fugu sounds like something I should try, yet can't say I have it in me to do so.
Have I tried it? nope 😢
