I always make my own too. It's so fresh and delicious, particularly if homemade yogurt is used. And so easy to make. It always puzzles me why anyone would bother buying commercial variety, like "genuine Greek Tzatziki". Never thought stabilizers, emulsifiers and the like are genuine to any culture or cuisine!
