Watch: James May vs Rachael Hogg – Are bananas the worst fruit?
This was never going to go well was it...?
James May loves a banana. I really don't. Bananas are creepy, they have a weird texture, and they ruin everything they go near.
...oh, and something about a sex education lesson at school, which causes both me and James to absolutely lose it. Honestly, this is absolute chaos from start to finish.

What kind of schools do you have in Albion?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 In Italy, with the influence of the Catholic Church, such a thing would never have been possible! The teacher would be sued, at the very least!
hahahahaha yes I definitely didn't go to a Catholic school!!
Neither do I, but even in public schools you can hear the Vatican knocking on the door 😑
How do you feel about banana flavoured condoms?
hahahahaha umm, I'm going to say, probably wouldn't be a fan 😂
I'm with you, Rachael. I know they have Beta blockers, great for stopping muscles from cramping, but I am NO FAN of bananas. Someone told me to hide it in a peanut butter smoothie. Why would I ruin perfectly good peanut butter? Maybe the PB helps it slide into the trash bin more easily. On the condom issue, we had the same thing.... maybe it was an early 80s thing... or just wishful thinking.
hahaha I mean, I was at high school in the 00s, so apparently it continued for a few years after the 80s. Maybe us lucky Millennials were the last generation of #bananagate. And exactly... the flavour is always there, no matter what...
Read moreWill you guys be doing pineapple on pizza? That would be a fun topic.
Love it on a su dried tomato, green olives, bell pepper and red onion pizza.
Sweet and savoury seriously great combo. Not a fan of a Hawaiian though
Chopped bananas and blackberries in zero sugar jello was quite decent .
Could possibly be the middle layer in a trifle too .
Maybe also could have pineapple pieces in hot chunky custard poured across it , and topped with a dusting of ground cinnamon .
Then there’s banana bread, piping hot from the oven, with butter or margarine melted over a generous slice , topped with pineapple jam.
