Watch Netflix, eat pizza and get paid
Ideal worlds really do exist.
It’s important to have dreams. Mine mostly revolve around excess consumption of cheesecake, but normal people do actually have proper ambitions such as buying a house, getting married and achieving a perfect job.
That last option can be a difficult one to choose. Sure, being an astronaut would be thrilling, but wouldn’t it be easier to simply become a billionaire? Or even a genie?
Thankfully, idealistic worries about the ridiculous paths that careers could take are finally over as a result of a new offering that involves devouring copious slices of pizza and indulging effortlessly in watching TV shows.
Internet gambling site BonusFinder is currently advertising the highly prestigious role of “professional binge watcher”, which is someone who – with gusto and determination – will sit around for hours on end eating pizza and watching Netflix. How fortunate we are that such a popular hobby is now a job.
Of course, such a gruelling role doesn’t come without substantial responsibilities. The successful applicant will be specifically tasked with watching three popular Netflix shows while also trying out a variety of pizzas, thoroughly reviewing both the programmes and the food.
For the shows, judgement has to be passed on acting quality, cheesiness, storylines, suitability for “Netflix and chill” and overall satisfaction. On the other hand, the pizzas require a comprehensive grilling on taste, texture, gooeyness, appearance and cost.
Although the job is likely to attract a huge number of bids, the one winner will be paid $500 for their services – and even bag spending money to purchase the pizzas. Applications close on 12th February, so there’s still time to get your taste buds in shape.
