Weekend breakfast hack: Bread Poha recipe
Simple and delicious - bread poha is a breakfast hack you wish you knew before
"Breakfast makes your day" is a famous saying, and a breakfast which makes my day is bread poha. It is very easy to make and will surely brighten your mood in the morning. I'd suggest you have it on weekends with your whole family.
A simple breakfast recipe

Ingredients
- 10 Slices of Bread
- 1 Onion
- 1 Green Chili
- 2 Tomatoes
- 8 Curry Leaves
- 1/2 tea-spoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
- 1/2 tea-spoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tea-spoon Red Chili Powder
- Salt (as per taste)
- Mustard/ Refined oil
Instructions
The Groundwork
- Chop the onion, tomatoes and green chili
- Heat the wok and add Mustard/ Refined oil
- Add Mustard seeds
- When the Mustard seeds start crackling, add the curry leaves, chopped chili and onion
- When the onion and chili are fried (turn light brown) add the chopped tomatoes
- When the tomatoes turn mushy, add turmeric and red chili powder
- After this, simmer on a low heat
Bread preparation
- Soak 10 slices of bread and water. Squeeze them to take out the water out of them completely
- After that, sprinkle some salt
Final
- Add the bread mix in the wok and mix it properly with the onion, tomato and chili
- Bread Poha is ready!

Squeeze the water out of the bread properly and spread it evenly.
