Too early for Christmas? With all that's going on, let's start the cheer early. Sweet rice is a traditional festive treat in the Punjab
Zardah, or sweet rice, is normally made with a colouring to give it the distinctive hue. I prefer to make things that are healthy and natural, so I played around with using orange zests and orange juice to get the colour. Still sweet, but with a bit more tang, this experiment turned out really well.
Here are some more of the ingredients that went into the Zardah, if that isn't festive, I don't know what is.
