We're not sure how we feel about this GUSHERS yogurt full of bursting beads

You asked for the 90's, and you got it

If you were a child of the 1990's, chances are you had a pack of Gushers fruit snacks in your lunchbox at least once, or you traded something from your lunch with a friend for theirs because your mom wouldn't let you eat the gooey, sugary concoctions. Surely you even remember those scary commercials that featured kids heads morphing into various fruits. I sure do *shutters*.

There's now a new "type" of Gushers lurking about food stores in the form of Yoplait yogurt with "burstin' beads". Instagram user @foodiewiththebeasts posted the find last week in a Food Lion market. The photo shows the new Gushers yogurt is available in Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch, and Green Apple flavors. Twitter account @CandyHunting also reported on this new "treat".

We're looking forward to finding out what the "burstin' beads" are all about. Could they be similar to Pop Rocks exploding candy? Or maybe tiny Gushers? Either way, this yogurt sounds like something we invented in our lunchroom by mixing together Trix yogurt and Gushers.

There's no official word on when, or if, these yogurts will have a full release in more grocery stores. You can be sure we'll keep a lookout for someone else to try it first.

Will you try Yoplait Gushers yogurt with Burstin' Beads?

  • I remember those. Of course I graduated in 93 lol I thought they still made them. In a yogurt would be interesting .

    • Yep they're still around. The resurgence of them in yogurt form feels like something that would have been done in the 90's 😁

    • I have not seen them in a while. I agree with that
