You might want to put your Big Mac down for this news... McDonald’s is the most loved eating out brand in the UK, according to data from research agency Savanta.
The insight is drawn from the opinions of 100,000 diners. The full list of the top 100 most loved brands in the UK features a mix of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and fast food spots.
For the fact fans out there, Brits eat out around three times a month, and visit 35 eating out brands a year. People under 30 eat out the most, and perhaps unsurprisingly, people living in London go out the most (3.9 times a month).
The top 20 most loved list looks pretty varied, featuring coffee shops to pizza, and burger chains to The Ivy. There are some pretty big surprises on there as well.

I’m sorry but I demand a re-count, no way should Five Guys be down in 11th
And if Pizza Express really was in 48th, they wouldn't be facing bankruptcy.
Good point
I desperately want some Maccas fries right now.
I can only apologise. This is a problem with this job... always hungry!
Excited for Mr. Lewis Hamilton‘s vegan burger restaurants!
Odd. Coast to Coast use to be a chain hardware Store back during the 1980s in the United States. Kind of like Home Depot or Lowes. My dad use to take me there all the time.
How is Costa an "eating out" experience?
