What is the correct way to cut a sandwich?

  • I find a diagonal cut to be more aesthetically pleasing. And I always, always cut any sandwiches made using round buns, such as burgers, on the diagonal; cutting them any other way would be just wrong.

  • For me, it depends on the content. It feels weird to eat a triangular peanut butter sandwich, for example.

  • I ask myself this everytime I make a sandwich but to me, it really all depends on what kind of sandwich it is. Will you be dipping it? Then diagonal for sure. No dipping? Still depends on what kind of sandwich. But that's just me.
