What is your favourite type of olive?
For me, it's a tie between Kalamata olives and trakistes!

Elies tsakistes are green olives that traditionally are cracked with a stone, then washed and kept in salted water to get rid of the bitterness. These olives are enjoyed all year around and they can be found all over Cyprus! And now you can make them yourself 😃
I have been eating these olives since I arrived back in the island, they are fruity and really delicious, you will be licking your fingers!

Oh yes, volou are so good as well, I completely forgot about these.. never tried angora before 🤔
🤔 I will double check the name but I find them at a Greek supermarket. Those are black and raisin like texture, like the Moroccan olives but these are a bit sweeter. I will take a picture of them next time!
