What's the best cheap student food? Have you tried Ramen made from a packet, with the addition of eggs, bacon, mushrooms and some spring onions. Prawn crackers and a bit of homemade sushi on the side.
I mean... pasta, pasta and more pasta. A huge bag of pasta, some tubs of sauce and some cheese and you can eat that for ages. And it's cheap. I lived off pasta at uni
I must say the Nissin Ramen @ 25p per packet (back in the days), some eggs or chicken thigh thrown in really took me through my poor university days! Super unhealthy due to the MSG in the flavouring but just use half of it and it "seems" all good

Strenuously second this!
That's the plan for today, with a few modifications!
Stir fry.
baked beans on toast .

Is MSG really unhealthy though? I’ve read some interesting theories against that idea. fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-msg-got-a-bad-rap-flawed-science-and-xenophobia/
Anything cheap. I admire college students because you can give them ramen soup and they make massive meals out of it. Lol
