What's your favourite book + booze combination during quarantine?

I know the word "booze" doesn't sound particularly noble but these are difficult times and they require a different approach. My approach is called Menabrea, an excellent pils style beer from Northern Italy with 4.5% ABV. Tonight, I'm pairing it with a book about a car I've owned for 17 months and 22,000 miles: the Mazda RX-8. What's your book + booze combination? Let me know in the comments

  • I am not a big reader. Like audio books. Love records. Huge jazz classical sinatra fan. Can I do a book and one of those ??? Or how bout this. Why don’t I say tell me a book and a drink and I’ll do it this weekend. I’ll review it

  • My current combination is Krombacher, a rather popular German pilsner with 4.8% ABV, and Amazon Kindle with Kindle Unlimited, so I can choose quite a lot of various books.

  • Menabrea one of my favourite Italian beers! God bless italy these times! I mostly listen to audiobooks or podcasts, right now “The next big idea” and drinking German Rauchbier from Bamberg.
