What's Your Opinion on Recipe Kit Subscriptions?
  • A great way to broaden the range of weeknight meals without too much hassle!
  • Fostering a generation of chefs who lack imagination due to the prescribed recipes!
  • Cheaper than a takeaway, so I'll take it!
  • Another unnecessary addition to the inundation of subscription goods our lives revolve around!
  • Puts the joy back into cooking again
  • Knowing you've got everything puts the joy into cooking once again!
  • They're a bit pricey for me!

  • I have no use for it but I do think it is a good option for some people.

    • Same, tried blue apron for a month, ended up choosing meals we normally make 🙄 but with a twist, turns out we didnt like them as much, just too lazy to shop for a month 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • I would like to try a few of them just to learn some new recipes that I could then alter and make my own. I think they're good for people new to cooking or looking to expand their recipe box 🙂 There's a local company near me who does this so I will try them and report back in the future!

  • I've veen really growing to love Vietnamese style cooking. My partner has taught me a lot. It's surprisingly simple and quick to do. I guess though these would be a great way to learn some new recipes, but tbh... I'd rather just go find them online.

  • I tried one at some point, I think it was Hello Fresh, which promised fantastic stuff in 20 minutes. To get it done in 20, you need to have the speed of a professional chef and you realise that half way through. I wasn’t impressed.
