When you stab around at a menu in a language you don't understand.

Not really. I'd just got down from the Eiffel Tower and was ready for another quintessentially French experience. Happily someone told me what escargot was, because I'd always wanted to try them. Verdict: Like a bit of squid, with garlic and basil.

    • In Paris, there is a patisserie chain called cyril lignac patisserie. Very high-quality cakes, breads and chocolates. He also has 3 restaurants in the city also which are very good too
