Hard. A soft taco is basically a wrap.
A hard taco is good as long as it doesn’t shatter and make all the filling fall out. So basically, never.
That's all part of the experience. Skill does come with practice.
I can’t be doing with hard shell tacos, can’t be bothered wearing my food!
Soft shells.
Here in TX nearly all tacos are hard shell corn, hard pressed to find a flour shell. I’ve seen a few places here that offer a soft option.
