Who's down for a low-country boil?

It's a one-pot meal, just with a really big pot...

On my last night in Savannah, my gracious hosts cooked up a good old fashion Low Country Boil. Two pounds of shrimp, Kielbasa, potatoes, corn on the cob, garlic, all thrown together in a big lobster pot and seasoned to perfection. These photos from my iPhone don't do it justice, this meal was amazing. I made sure I ate every last piece of Kielbasa, too.

  • I’m sure it was delicious, but since I learned to clean shrimp I became a spoiled little brat who won’t eat shrimp that hasn’t been deveined.

    ... and this is how I lost all my friends.
