If you are not familiar with these, they are morel mushrooms and they are in season for the picking. They are only available for about a couple of months and then they are gone til next year. These were already soaked in some salt water for me and were dried. So I took and dipped it in some buttermilk, tossed it in seasoned flour and into the hot oil they go! Crispy rich goodness! Oh yes!
Mmm...that looks pretty cool, I remember in my childhood we used to pick parasol mushrooms and coat them in eggs,salt and breadcrumbs.. then fried them on a pan, something wonderful 😏😋
Nice...I saw that some ppl use some flour instead of breafcrumbs but I think both options are pretty nice 🙃 but I would be crazier than my mum and add more spices coz it's me, lol 😂
