Wine and cheese crackers in a box: blasphemous or delicious?

Cheez-It launches a new box with sparkling wine and toasty crackers

Cheez-it, a brand of cheese cracker owned by Kellogg’s, launched its first ‘Wine & Cheez-It’ pairing in 2019. Yup. You got that right, crackers and wine in a box. It sounds sinful but it was a huge success and a year later, they launched a new box with rosé wine White Cheddar crackers.

This year, which also marks the brand’s 100th anniversary, Cheez-It launched the ‘Cheez-It x Usual Wines “So Extra” Toasty experience’, which combines “a bubbly coupe and cracker bowl for simultaneous sipping, toasting and crunching”. It’s available in four varieties: Original, Extra Spicy, Extra Cheesy and Cheddar Jack.

The box is available from and by the way, each box includes a coupon for 20% off at

I'm afraid to imagine what the wine is like. Seriously, why would anyone want to eat/drink this? It not only sounds sinful, it definitely is. Tar and feathers come to mind 😊

    • Wouldn't surprise me if this was the first thing Chris Bangle designed after leaving the automotive industry 😊
