Wish me luck, I'm about to try Carolina Reaper (very) Hot Wings
I've bought them. Nearly a kilo of *very* hot wings for me to either enjoy, or instantly regret
Told my Dad I'd bring some chicken wings tomorrow, as we're going out for a walk and we both enjoy them. We also both like spice, but the real question is; how much?
These definitely have a kick – not that I've eaten a whole wing yet, just some of the marinade after I'd cooked them. That was 10 minutes ago and my lips are still tingling. There might be a lot of regret involved with this purchase.
I bought them as they were (very very slightly) cheaper than the normal hot wings at Iceland. Boy do they give you bang for your buck: 3 quid for nearly a kilo of spicy chicken wings (and less hassle than marinading myself when I'm in a rush).
Never mind aching legs after hiking, I'll be too busy contemplating what possessed Iceland to create such devils, and myself for buying them. I'll update on my opinion, and Dad's, tomorrow. Quite looking forward to them honestly!
Another important question. Do I warn the old man or tell him they're quite tame and laugh like a maniac when he tries one?
