The winner of the sixth edition of Masterchef, Valerio Braschi, invented the carbonara distillate. You don't eat it, but drink it. If the question is "why", I don't have any "because". I'm sorry.

The liquid carbonara is served as a non-alcoholic shot, served in 50ml glasses. To prepare it, the chef said it took about 3 hours for a 300ml portion, distilling everything at a low temperature and vacuum-packed, together with a preparation of zabaglione with pecorino cheese, black pepper broth and roast guanciale cream.

  • Today is a bad day for everyone! I couldn't imagine liking it - without the texture to go with it, I would think that the disembodied taste would be a bit disconcerting.
