You can now donate Chipotle burritos to healthcare heroes
Support medical professionals *and* get burritos: it's a win-win
Chipotle is running a buy one get one free promo right now — but it’s a bit different than the BOGOF deals we’re used to.
From April 21 to April 26, if you buy a burrito from the chain online, then Chipotle will donate a burrito to a medical professional. All you have to do is name your burrito “4HEROES” on the Chipotle app or on Chipotle.com and the restaurant will do the rest.
Healthcare workers can sign up for their chance to receive free burritos starting on Nurses Day, which is May 6.
"We've seen firsthand how real food can go a long way in lifting the spirits of our country's incredibly resilient healthcare community," said Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer. "We're excited to give fans another opportunity to support our heroes by simply naming their burrito."
Chipotle also has a new egift card program where the company will match 10% of the amount you load on the card, and donate it to Direct Relief. That’s an organization that provides personal protective equipment and essential medical items to healthcare professionals across the US and around the world.
For you customers at home, you’re also eligible for free delivery of Chipotle grub if you spend $10 or more online until the end of April.
