"stuffing as tight as I could" haaaaa, sounds good though!
aww. South American cuisine wise I’ve only really been as adventurous as empanadas and fresh piranha.
I’m from England, If that wasn’t already apparent.

  • We aren't very adventurous here tbh - except for a few dishes like feijoada that take the cheaper beef/pork cuts.
now that I’ll have to look into.
All the recipes in English only list the fancy cuts, so try finding a Brazilian restaurant nearby and check if their feijoada has pigs' ears - those are the most delicious bits.
I’ll see what my local butchers has to offer.

  • That is awesome - I heard it's a magical place!
Let me know how that goes. Have you been to a Churrascaria before? I think they call it Brazilian Steak House in English.

We have a few chains of those here in Texas. I love them, but you can make yourself sick eating too much delicious meat there.

Boi na braza, Texas de Brasil, fogo de Chao....
You sure can! Churrascos are what we usually do on the weekends here... we go to a friends/relatives house early in the morning and spend the day eating bits of churrasco, drinking, sunbathing. Having the full eating experience in a sitting is a bit insane tbh haha

haha I have never heard someone call it magical before, but it's a great place if you like a more rural atmosphere! Lots and lots of farmland here

Also, seeing as I don't see any other Canadians here, I might be the only person here to have enjoyed moose meat...someone prove me wrong lol
I'm trying to remember who told me about it - but my brain is failing, it was a long time ago when I was in college. They did describe it as a place with magical views... you have aurora borealis there, right? I think it was one of my "artistic" friends....
I've seen at least two Canadians around... but forgot their names as well. Today is not my day. 😂

yes we do have aurora! As for the views, we're pretty famous for being really really flat, so you can see for miles and miles around. We don't have any real mountains or anything like that, so I've always found it kinda boring, but our sunsets are some of the best in the world!
